Monster Manor Chapter Forty: End Game Part 2
“KATE or Knowledge Awareness Tracking and Education is a massive underground complex that stretches over several acres under a dense forestland.” Serious, Selene said. “The old mansion is just to house the Titan who, for the moment, is their leader.” “Every team should know the plan by heart.” Calmly, Loki said. “Just be ready to adapt in case something unexpected occurs.” “Vesper and I will provide cover for each team as we advance onto the mansion and the underground complex.” Serious, Yukina said. “Yukio will be safe at the reservation until this is over.” “Team Mansion and Club will accompany Grog, Susan, and the Duff family into the dungeon maze.” Serious, Anna said. “There we will be curing and freeing the hybrid prisoners.” Calypso, Kristen and I will be curing and freeing those in the underwater dungeons, taking them to the surface and freedom.” Serious, Naomi said. “Those we cannot cure, we will lead to the open ocean where my monster group will take them in.” “Same be
A sneak peak into a project I am working on called The unfinished library... Who is Haunting Who On the edge of the Louisiana Bayou, in a remote forest lies an old Victorian mansion. From the outside, it appears to be a burned out husk but the inside is immaculate. Everything appears to be untouched despite the tragic event over a century before. The mansion was once an orphanage for ‘hopeless cases’; children no one seemed to want for one reason or another. For reasons yet to be disclosed, the orphanage was quickly quietly shut down indefinitely; no records of the orphans who lived there had been found to this day… August 3rd, 2000… A seven year old girl looked about in awe at the inside of the old mansion his family had recently purchased. “This place is amazing! I cannot wait to explore!” A young woman patiently tapped one foot. “Zoe Hue, you know better. Do not go anywhere alone until you get to know your way around; the halls of this mansion are like a maze.” Zoe frowned, her

CHAPTER EIGHT: Rescue Plan Meanwhile, not far away, Jon and Hank waited in a small stolen air boat with Hannah and Tom securely tied and gagged in the front. The two men watched Morgana and her followers leave with two of the children in tow and two others following them from a safe distance. “It would seem like Morgana got what she was looking for.” remarked Jon. “Which means her need for the two remaining children is coming to a close.” Darkly, Hank added. “Fortunately for them, we got here just in time.” Serious, Grim said. The two turned to see him pull alongside their boat in a modern barge. “I cannot allow Morgana and her crew to learn the secret of the pirate’s vault.” Hank and Jon were surprised to find more than a dozen men on the barge, each armed with rifles. “I’m glad you made it, sir.” Softly, Hank said. “Why all of the muscle, though?” “All will be revealed in due time.” Sternly, Grim replied. “For the moment, just understand that I am in charge.”

CHAPTER SEVEN: The Maze. The sun was just beginning to shine through the trees when Bob arrived at the Louisiana Mississippi resort. He had expected to find the resort busy but he was not prepared to find it completely full. He looked around in surprise at the seemingly countless number of campers and all-terrain vehicles parked everywhere there was a legal place to park. “Oh, man!” he thought. “This place is packed! It’s going to be tough to find someone who can pull away and help.” Then he said aloud, “What is this a camper’s convention?” “It’s a survivalists convention, actually.” said a feminine voice behind him. Bob spun around and smiled upon seeing Hannah. “What are you doing out here, Hannah?” he asked, giving her a quick hug. “I thought you and your dad would not be coming back here after your parent’s divorce.” “They decided to patch things up after a few friends from school found my little brother with their child find program.” “Child find program?”

Heroes And Villains Meanwhile, out in the bayou, Joey moved quickly and cautiously through the marsh and brush, trying not to allow his fears to get the best of him. He was scared, very scared, he had to fight to ignore the countless number of spooky sounds and monster shaped shadows surrounding him. He scanned the waters of the swamp every few minutes in fear Morgana and her two body guards were still looking for him. He had promised them, himself that this time he would find a way to make it through. “I've got to get away!” Desperately, he panted. “I’m not gonna let them down, I can’t let them down!” Nearby, on one of the many small islands, Luke spotted Joey running along the shore, barely visible behind the thick brush. “Hey, Joe.” Nudging his friend, he said. “Look there… isn't that one of the kids Morgana was holding captive?” Joe looked to where Luke had pointed and found the small boy on the far shore, occasionally looking about as he ran. “Yeah.” Softly, he

The Plot Thickens Outside, Morgana, still searching for the other escaped children, heard Mr. Jerk's voice over a hand held radio in her swamp boat. "Bronx and Gruesome have caught two of the kids. I repeat they have two of them.” Morgana looked down at Tim, still unconscious in the front, then sped back to the old riverboat where Michael and Kelly were just stepping out onto the small island it was stranded on. "Keep a sharp eye out." Serious, Michael said. “Surprise is our only advantage at this point.” Kelly scanned the waters with her binoculars and let out a short scream of surprise as Race suddenly pushed her and Michael down into the boat, hiding them in the shadows. Michael opened his mouth to protest but fell silent upon hearing a motor quickly approaching them. It was Morgana's air boat. She slowed it to a halt at the shore near the gang plank and dragged Tim's limp body inside. After she was out of sight, Michael turned to Race and whispered, "Try to give

The Bayou That evening, at the old river boat, Emily and Tim both stepped out onto the first floor walkway near the gangplank with Joey close behind them. He stepped up to Tim and shook his hand, then he turned to Emily and gave her a strong hug. "It should be me going out, Joey." Tearfully, Emily said. "Thanks for taking my turn again." She hugged him again, sniffling. "Good luck out there." "Thanks, Emily." Softly, joey replied. "I will make it through and find some help, you’ll see." He held back a sob but then Tim placed a heavy hand on his shoulder. "We'll all run for it this time." Serious, he said. "That way, at least one us will get through. He looked back at the river boat, then said, "We better hurry, though. I overheard Dr. Jerk talking on the phone. That witch, Morgana will be coming back soon." Joey shivered at the thought before nodding and running off into the thick brush of the swamp with Tim and Emily quickly following. After they were out of

The Mission On the other end of the line, inside Kelly’s house, Kelly had dropped the phone and was frantically running through the spacious living room, towards the open front door to her little sister’s aid. "I’m coming Kim!” she screamed, pausing at her father’s gun cabinet. “Don’t worry, your sister’s coming!” Bracing herself, Kelly threw her fist full into the glass door of her father’s gun case and grabbed a .357 pistol with her injured hand. Quickly, nervously, Kelly then dropped two bullets into the gun’s rotating barrel chamber and ran over the glass from the broken door window, out onto the front lawn. There, she found a man holding a firm hand over Kim’s mouth as he carried her over to a small black car. The first thing Kelly noticed was that there was fear in her sister’s tear filled eyes, throwing her anger clear over her fear and she fired the first round into the air, prompting the man to stop dead in his tracks. “Let go of my sister!” she demanded,

THE PROGRAM Later that day, as the children piled out of the school for home, Michael’s small group walked together, discussing the success of their project. “I simply can not believe we actually found eleven missing children in two hours alone!” said Rick, excited. “What a success! Our parents are going to flip!” “I never knew Hannah had a missing brother.” said Kelly, genuinely happy. “I’m sort of glad he was the first kid we found.” “But there is still a lot of work to do.” said Michael. “There are a lot of missing children who will not get pictured inside school year books.” “I’ll start work on a program that will access the police computer files on young John and Mary Does.” said Race. “We can integrate it into the program when it’s finished.” “Young John and Mary Does?” asked Kelly. “People, or in this case, children who can not be readily identified by any normal means such as fingerprints or picture identification.” replied Rick. he turned to Race. “Isn’t
